Despite COVID restrictions, we manage to visit the prison in Veenhuizen in the Netherlands and meet the researchers and prison staff who are attached to this particular prison and who are developing a new so-called “fathers wing”; a special department of Veenhuizen prison that works with inmates and their families.

The researchers around this special department are affiliated with the Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen – and together with these researchers and the prison staff  we will continue the dialogue about the development of games and tools that can strengthen the bond between incarcerated fathers and their children.
