The Danish Centre for Design Research and the Social Design Unit co-organise the seminar Insights into Danish Design Research which will be hosted at Design Museum Denmark on August 19, from 12:00-18:00. Medical Museion and the Social Design Unit co-organises the research seminar Fragile Matter. The seminar will take place at Medical Museion, September 23, 10.00-13:00. There are limited seats and registration will be possible in August.

The Social Design Unit has been invited to give a talk on Design and Societal Transitions at a research webinar arranged by the Interaction & Service Design (IxS) group at Linköbing University. The webinar will take place on September 24, 10:00-12:00.

The Social Design Unit has been invited to give a talk on Design and Futures at the Estonian Academy of Arts, Tallinn on Nov 17. The talk will be part of the Academy’s Open Lecture series Design Issues, organised by Dr. Triin Jerlei.

The Social Design Unit is involved in planning and hosting a PhD winter school held at Aalborg University, Copenhagen, November 9-13. The winter school is part of the EU-Funded Marie-Curie Doctoral Network CoDesign4Transition.
