Based on our company collaboration with EWII on Sustainable Energy Futures and our continued and ardent interest in speculative design and design fiction, we have authored a new article entitled Design Fiction and the Art of Anticipation. It deals with the post-pandemic world we live in and the urgent need to develop new anticipatory practices for preparing for the uncertain futures to come. Design fiction holds such a potential to build up Future Literacy, which we will lay out and present to a broader audience at the IASDR conference having the theme Life-Changing Design. It takes place from October 9-13 at Politecnico di Milano.
