Chapter on Design Culture, Participatory Design and Social Design in the book “Ny kulturteori”
On June 28 the book Ny kulturteori will come out on Hans Reitzels Forlag.
Ny kulturteori is a primer in cultural theory introducing how theories and methods from the humanities and social sciences can be valauble for the study of, for instance, citizen participation, urban activism, participatory art and a number of other socio-cultural practices.
The book is edited by Bjørn Schiermer & Birgit Eriksson and we are contributing with a chapter that under the heading Design & Culture introduces Design Culture, Participatory Design and Social Design. Three influential approaches within design research, which are richly exemplified through the analysis of recent projects.
